Ellen Jansson is a Swedish artist currently living and working in Helsingborg.

Ellen Jansson (b.1997) has since early part of her life been interested in art and the process of creating. Having her first exhibition at 18 years old, and 5 years later she graduated from SARA (The Swedish Academy of Realist Art). Since then she has had multiple exhibitions, received scholarships and produced many works of art.
Jansson’s technical influences come from 19-century impressionism and classical academic painting.
Jansson’s art can be recognized by the themes of nature-, botanical arrangements and figures in dreamlike scenery. By experimenting with complex composition she imagines scenes that guide the eye through the painting, while still maintaining the fragile line between clutter and emptiness.
